Immanuel Lutheran Church offers live, drive-through nativity Dec. 21
CLIFTON - A manger, surrounded by humble people, shepherd’s leaning on their staffs, children tending to their goats, and maybe the ultimate beast of burden – the donkey – led by Joseph, the donkey that carried Mary into Bethlehem.
What a perfect way to celebrate and capture the essence of the Christmas season.
To that effect, the Clifton Immanuel Lutheran Church is offering a live nativity scene on Saturday, Dec. 21 from 6 – 9 p.m. To accommodate the less mobile, or to avoid the cold weather, the multi-scene nativity can be watched from inside a vehicle, by driving through the church’s parking lot.
In case of rain, the nativity will be enacted on Sunday, Dec. 22 from 6-9 p.m. The church is located at 911 W. 3rd Street, Clifton.
