In a world of fleeting images, endless snippets of information that disappear as soon as they surfaced, books are tangible, always accessible, and therefore very much alive. Book depositories like libraries remain relevant and matter.
Despite their perceived obsolescence in the digital age, both libraries and librarians remain irreplaceable for many reasons. And certainly that holds true for a unique small town establishment and asset – the Meridian Public Library.
