Tate to judge BAC's 17th Annual High School Student Art Show, meet and greet at opening reception March 1
CLIFTON – Sponsored by the Bosque Arts Center’s Art Council, the 17th Annual High School Student Art Show will open Sunday, March 1. Kathy Tate, recipient of the 2018 Bosque Art Classic John Steven Jones Purchase Award, will serve as judge of this year's competition.

Stephenville’s Kathy Tate will be the 2020 High School Student Art Show judge.
Please be sure to take advantage of this opportunity to admire the talent and creativity of the young artists in Bosque County High Schools as well as from Hamilton, Hico and Whitney.
The show is open to all students working toward improving their artistic skills and who attend the schools noted. Some schools may not have art instruction or classes, but have students expanding their artistic talent "on their own."
Open to the public, the Art Show's opening reception will be held Sunday, March 1 from 2-3 p.m. The prize winners will be announced and the students will receive their awards at the reception.
Tate will be on hand to meet and encourage the upcoming artists at the opening reception.
This year's High School Student Art Show offers generous prize monies with Best in Show receiving $500, first place in each media division $100, second place $75, third place $50, and honorable mentions receiving ribbons. The students’ works will be for sale as well, if they choose. The show will hang March 1-14.
