Bosque Arts Center online auction serves as prelude to postponed 38th Annual Big Event fundraiser
Dubbed as an “Evening on Safari,” the Bosque Arts Center’s extremely popular 38th Annual Big Event fundraiser was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But in anticipation of the event rescheduled for May 16, patrons can show their support right now by bidding on the e-BAC online auction, which opens Friday, March 27 and closes April 2.
Offering a diversity of trip, dinner and merchandise packages, the auction will include trips like a Kentucky Bourbon Trail, a Napa Valley Epicurean Adventure, a Northern Tanzania Safari, an Argentina Wingshooting Trip, a Samuel Adams Brewery Tour in Boston. Closer to home, patrons can bid on a three-day/two-night stay at Texas Safari, Texas Ranger Premium Tickets at the new stadium when the season starts, a Rough Creek package, a dinner by celebrity chef Ken Patrick or some prime Perrini Tenderloin.
A BAC auction would not be complete without art, so there is a wonderful choice of works from award-winning artists Lloyd Voges, David Prescott, George Boutwell, Cheryl Harley-Volz, Ann Patton, Jo Beck and Jean Olliver.
And auctioneers can also bid on tickets to limited seating events for when the social distancing is over and done with, and it’s time to share evenings with friends and family again. Bid on specialty events like a Microbrewery & Brats Party, a Wedding Oak Winery Wine-Tasting and Dinner, a Wine & Cheese Pairing Party, as well as a Bourbon & Cigars Party for 40.
But then again, a Prada purse or eye-catching jewelry such as a David Yurman Blue Topaz ring might just be the “must-have” thing to bid on.
Details on the e-BAC online auction will be available on the Bosque Arts Center website starting March 27.
Proceeds help fund the Bosque Arts Center, located at 215 College Hill Drive in Clifton, with its day to day operation and all the BAC endeavors. The volunteerism, sponsorships, donations, and participation in the fun activities the Big Event and e-BAC online auction keep the BAC thriving.
