BAC's Roland Jones Memorial Gallery holds renown collection

CLIFTON - Housing the permanent art collection of the Bosque Arts Center, the Roland Jones Memorial Gallery is open free to the public Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. The BAC will be closed Wed., Jan. 1 for New Year’s Day.

A gathering of beautiful representational artwork from the past decades, the gallery is definitely worth a trip to Clifton.  Nationally-renowned artists, as well as artists to watch, are represented in the collection, which grows every year with purchases from the Bosque Art Classic show and sale.

The 2018 additions to the permanent collection of the gallery included “Once Someone’s Dream” by Kathy Tate, the silver medal oil/acrylic that received the John Stevens Jones Purchase Award, as well as “Spring” by Jeff Rechin, the gold medal sculpture that received the Art Patrons Purchase Award.
