Bosque Art Center’s Second Annual Online Fine Art Auction serves as fundraiser, artists reception cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic

CLIFTON – Despite being forced to cancel related activities due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Bosque Arts Center will hold its Second Annual Online Fine Art Auction featuring over 50 pieces of original art by nationally acclaimed artists March 20-25.

Artists exhibiting in the 2020 Online Fine Art Auction are Steve Atkinson, Dan Bodelson, Nancy Boren, Mikel Donahue, Tony Eubanks, Deborah Fellows, Bruce Greene, Martin Grelle, Terry Cooke Hall, Whitney Hall, Sherry Harrington, Jim House, Donna Howell-Sickles, Greg Kelsey, Krystii Melaine, Brenda Murphy, Jim Norton, Dustin Payne, Bruce Peil, Clark Kelley Price, Jason Rich, Aaron Schuerr,  Kathy Tate, Joshua Tobey, Ezra Tucker, Nelson Tucker, Don Weller.

Many of these artists have won the BAC’s prestigious John Steven Jones Purchase Award. Unfortunately, the reception with the artists planned for Saturday has been cancelled as a precaution against the spread of COVID-19.

Open bidding in the Second Annual Online Fine Art Auction began at 9 a.m. Friday, March 20 and runs  through 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 25. Prospective bidders can view the works and corresponding artist biographies online starting March 17 at: www.bosqueartscenter.org/page/OnlineFineArtAuction.aspx.

The BAC website offers a Helpful Hints PDF available for download explaining how to view the art, how to make a bid, as well as some troubleshooting notes.
