Lloyd Voges: January's Featured Artist

Award-winning Western Artist of America on display at BAC

CLIFTON - As the featured artist in January, the works of Lloyd Voges will be on display in the Atrium Gallery at the Bosque Arts Center in Clifton throughout the month.

Award-winning artist Lloyd Voges speaks at the Bosque River Valley DAR meeting recently.

As a member of the Western Artists of America and the International Guild of Realism, Voges has been recognized in the ART OF THE WEST magazine, and won multiple awards. Locally, some of his work is also on display in the Goodall-Witcher Healthcare hallway, while canvas prints are available for purchase at Lady Bugs.

In addition to Voges' work, the permanent art collection of the BAC can be seen in the Roland Jones Memorial Gallery, which is open free to the public Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. The BAC will be closed Wed., Jan. 1 for New Year’s Day.

A gathering of beautiful representational artwork from the past decades, the gallery is definitely worth a trip to Clifton.  Nationally-renowned artists, as well as artists to watch, are represented in the collection, which grows every year with purchases from the Bosque Art Classic show and sale.
