Healthy Kids Running Series gets starting gun for Fall edition Sunday in Clifton City Park

CLIFTON – Healthy Kids Running Series is a national, community-based non-profit that provides a fun, inclusive five-week running series for ages 2-14, designed for kids to get active, feel accomplished and lay the foundation for a healthy lifestyle.

Community coordinator Renee Kettler brings the event to Bosque County this fall. The first of five runs was held on Sunday, Sept. 26 at 3 p.m. With 90 youth registered beforehand, this already surpassed the 2021 spring event.

Facts about the Bosque County Healthy Kids Running Series:

Dates: Every Sunday for five weeks – Sept 26, Oct. 3, Oct. 10, Oct. 17, Oct. 24

Time: Races begin at 3 p.m.

Location: Clifton City Park – 401 E. 2nd Street, Clifton, Tx, 76634

Registration: $40 for the full series or $10 per race. Scholarships are available.

Awards: Tech T-shirts for full series participants, goodie bags and a medal for all runners in week 5.
